Rossville girls pull away from Frankfort in 2nd half
The Rossville girls’ basketball team outscored Frankfort by 14 points in the second half to earn a 51-32 win over the Hot Dogs on Wednesday night at Rossville.
Frankfort did its best to hang with Rossville in the first half and trailed 20-15 at halftime.
Three Hornets scored in double figures, and one of them finished with a double-double.
Junior forward Keely Criswell scored a team-high 16 points, pulled down seven rebounds and blocked three shots in the win, while sophomore point guard Maggie Deboy finished with 13 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and six steals, and junior guard Mallory Roberts contributed 12 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Always a stopped on defense, senior Taylor Zink finished with five steals and seven points.
