Rossville girls’ fall to Pioneer
Hornets drop close game
After leading at halftime by six points, the Rossville girls’ basketball team dropped a home game Tuesday night. Pioneer defeated the Hornets 42-37.
Rossville led 24-18 at halftime, but struggled in the third quarter as Pioneer took a 29-27 after the third quarter. Pioneer hung on to win the game by narrowly outscoring the Hornets in the fourth quarter.
Freshman Keely Criswell and junior Breanna Wainscott both scored in double figures. They scored 16 and 11 points, respectively.
